The principle of paralleling diesel generator sets in cabinets generally refers to the combination of two or more diesel generator sets to supply power to the load. Diesel generator sets need to meet the basic conditions of equal voltage, equal frequency, consistent phase sequence, equal phase, and equal output characteristics.
The principle of paralleling diesel generator sets in cabinets generally refers to the combination of two or more diesel generator sets to supply power to the load. Diesel generator sets must meet the following basic conditions:
1. The voltage is equal
2. the frequency is equal
3. Consistent phase sequence
4. Phase equal
5. The output characteristics are equal
Diesel generator set parallel debugging process
1. Stand-alone debugging
a. Check the main cable of the parallel cabinet, the generator voltage sampling line of the controller, the current transformer sampling line, the busbar voltage sampling, the communication line between the two machines, etc.
b. Set the basic parameters of the controller. (unit parameters, switch input/output, etc.)
c. The starting unit adjusts the speed of the engine at 1500RPM and the voltage at 400V
2. Parallel debugging: no-load parallel
a. The unit is paralleled with no load, and observe whether the active power, reactive power and current of the generator are zero (active power modulation, reactive power modulation).
b. Adjust to no circulating current (active power, reactive power, and current are all zero).
After multiple diesel generator sets are connected in parallel, an appropriate number of generator sets can be put in according to the load on the network to ensure that the generator set operates in the best state, which can save the loss of fuel and oil, so as to achieve the purpose of saving diesel oil and reducing the cost of power generation. Enterprises bring obvious economic benefits. At the same time, after the units are connected in parallel, the power supply quality is improved, and the voltage and frequency of the electrical equipment are stable, which can withstand the impact of large loads on the generator and reduce unit failures.
